A gust of fresh wind blows into her face, briefly stopping her breathing. She inhales deeply, so deeply that her head starts to spin. She closes her eyes. She feels her scarf gently slipping off her head. She lets it slide – she easily catches its edge. She opens her eyes. The scarf flutters in the wind, like a sail, helping to turn in the desired direction. Jurga smiles. She feels the harmony of wind and water. The smell is so fresh. So good.
The ship rocks lightly. With her bare feet she feels the texture of the deck floor. She likes to walk freely, to go at her own pace.
Her gaze slides to the other bank of the river. She knows that the ship will take her to where a new beginning awaits. She doesn't know what awaits her there, but she is not afraid. She walks slowly along the deck, the fabric of her dress gently clinging to her feet. Another smile. She leans against the bow of the ship, then slowly sits down. She is alone. And she feels good.
With her is the sky, water, clouds, the smell of the forest. She is a part of nature. She lies down so that she can freely look at the sky. Her thoughts rise high, far away. Good...
It is evening, it is getting chilly. Jurga remembers that there is a man's sweater nearby. She puts it on - it is warm, cozy. She smells his scent. Even though he is not there, she feels his support. His presence. The one she needs most.
She sits down at the table, pours herself some coffee. A warm sip warms you up even more.
The river reminds you of the flow of life, of changes, of the upcoming move to the other bank.
That uncertainty no longer scares you. It does not disturb your peace. Jurga puts her legs up, wraps herself in a warm blanket, puts on cozy socks. She enjoys the evening. How good...
